This little beauty appears frequently when clicking on links from
MSN.com.(Explorer 6). The problem disappears if I shut off NIS 2005. No
problem with NIS active when using Firefox 1.0.

If I click on the "here" IE6 opens the last active page. If I hit "refresh"
it redirects to the desired web page.

No spyware etc. on my machine (Windows XP Home, SP2).

Have found various other threads about this issue but no resolutions.
Others have advised reinstalling NIS; clearing cache; changins security
settings etc. No help!

Any thoughts?

Fixes:

1. Use a non-MSN homepage

2. Use www.member.msn.com as homepage (requires sign-in)

3. Sign in to MSN Messenger (.NET Passport) first.

4. Upgrade to MSN Messenger v6.2.0137 in WinXP SP2

also.......

Disable ActiveX before trying to access MSN/Hotmail
with MSN Messenger open

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

Jan :)
