problem emailing webpage

hi there!

ok, I just got front page 2002 and I am having a problem
that is making me want to bang my head against the wall
until I pass out.

I am working on a webpage, and I want to email it to my
friend so she can see how it looks.

but whenever I try to email it, the pictures wont go
through. and what I have noticed after hours of
frustration, is that when i insert a picture, an asterix
shows up beside the htm. (ie new_page.htm*), at which
time I CAN email it with the picture showing up, but as
soon as I save the page (I go to save as, and just save
it as a web page) the asterix disappears, and it will no
longer show up in an email. what is THAT all about?
any help would be SO SO SO SO MUCH APPRECIATED.
