problem editing messages in forums

Not sure what is causing this but occasionally when posting a message I will
edit my post for grammer or whatever and place the cursor somwhere in the
middle of what I've written so far and try to edit it. Usually there is no
problem but sometimes the text that was after the cursor
disappears_essentially I have to delete everything before the edit and
retype everything to make it all come out right. This problem occurs
sporadically in most forums I post in though not this one yet.

Editing a post would be a function of whatever program was used for the forums where you are posting. You are using Outlook Express to post on this Newsgroup, so the composing and editing are done from within OE.

Internet forums can be using any one of hundreds of different programs to manage and display their forums, so there is really no way to troubleshoot a problem like this unless you can determine which program is being used. On most internet sites, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and see a logo that shows which program is used for the forums.
