Problem connecting to Win XP desktops and Win2003 server

Hi,

I have a remote workstation running WinXP SP2 with a VPN connection to our
office. I can easily connect to our Windows 2000 servers with the RDP
client, but when i try to connect to a WinXP workstation the connection is
broken shortly after it starts. I get the connection bar on the top and
little else. I can connect to the WinXP workstation fine from another remote
client.

Can anyone throw some light on why I can connect to Win2000 and not
WinXP/Win2003 from this one client?

Thanks,

John

I heard that incompatible video drivers can produce that effect. Try a
different/newer one on your PC and, if it doesn't help, maybe on remote too.

Tried different drivers with no success. Decided to bring it back to work to
change the graphics card. Before starting, tried it when connected to the
internal network. Worked perfectly with no changes.

Very frustrating.
