Invalid Connection File in Remote Desktop

When I run the command below, I get the error message below that. The
title bar says: "Remote Desktop Connection" I can't see anything wrong
with the syntax. Any ideas what would cause the error message below? I
have tried it from a couple of workstations. I have version 6 of the
RDP client installed. The workstations are XP SP2 and the server I am
trying to connect to is a Windows 2003.

Command
mstsc -v:<servername> /F -console

Error message
Invalid Connection File (-console) specified

should be /v and /console, but in 6.1 it's /admin instead of /console
to get specifics for your version of rdp, go to:
start
run
mstsc /?

or if you're using Vista, you can type mstsc /? right in the search bar
