Problem Changing Names

For some reason, my computer will freeze or go to a black screen when I
change between user names. Anyone else have this problem>

Check Event Viewer (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer),
look for any logged error messages that might give a hint of whats causing
the freezing. You can then report back here where we will be able to better
diagnose the problem.

Have you recently installed any application/s or devices that might
interfering with the stability of the system.

There is nothing in the events log that shows anything about it. It
does show a bunch of desktop crashes, but none that are the same time
as the user names switches.

I am running a home built machine with SLI cards installed. This is
the first time I have seen this issue.
