Problem - Cannot drag & drop javascript links

Hi

I notice that I cannot longer drag & drop a web link which executes a
javascript function any longer. Currently using IE
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519.

For example I have a document containing links to documents. The links are
not "direct" links, but javascript links, e.g javascript:blush:penDoc(docid);

I used to be able to drag and drop such a link, but now it doesn't work
anymore.

Can someone please tell be what causes this ?
Is there any setting to allow this ?
When was this change implemented into IE ?

Thanks a lot for any information I can get !

regards,

Hi Petter. Yes I have noticed this too. I am not sure when it was
implemented... some while back I think. But I am sure that it has something
to do with secirity or protecting proprietry rights. I used them to allow
search shortcuts on the links bar to be downloaded from my site...
I also noticed that desktop links will no longer accept java scritps ( or vb
for that matter) as command values. The way around this is to use a text
editor to author your own .lnk files.
