Problem after adding a 2003 DC into a 2000 native mode domain

I have a 2000 native mode domain. I ran the forestprep and domainprep
successfully 4 days ago in preperation for a Windows 2003 Domain Controller
to be added. I upgraded the 2003 member server to a DC. HOWEVER, the
Operations Master is still a Windows 2000 DC(which also has DNS and DHCP).
Would this cause the DHCP Server service(which is on the 2000 Server) to just
stop running? This problem started 2 days after the new 2003 DC was added.
I cannot find any errors in the logs.

...the Operations Master is still a Windows 2000 DC...

That's fine.

Would this cause the DHCP Server service(which is on the 2000 Server) to
just stop running?

Doubtful...very doubtful.

Something else has triggered your problem.

firstly, check to make sure the service is running. If it isn't, try
starting it. If it doesn't start, note down the error and have a look on
google and post back.

What kind of problems are you having that you weren't two days ago?

I found the issue. I was running "winnt32 /upgradecheckonly" to verify any
issue on the 2000 DC before upgrading to 2003. Everytime I run that command
line the DHCP Server Service stops. I didn't realize it stopped services.
Thanks for the help.
