run adprep from windows 2003 server in windows 2000 dc Environment

I have windows 2000 DC and Exchange 2003 and have a windows 2003 server in
the domain .

Can i run adprep /forestprep & adprep /domainprep from windows 2003 machine
and not from windows 2000 domain controller.

Those commands must be ran on the schema master for your domain.

Find out which server is the schema master for your domain and run it on
that DC.
