DHCP Server service just STOPS on its own - PLEASE HELP!

I have a 2000 native mode domain. I ran the forestprep and domainprep
successfully 4 days ago in preperation for a Windows 2003 Domain Controller
to be added. I upgraded the 2003 member server to a DC. HOWEVER, the
Operations Master is still a Windows 2000 DC(which also has DNS and DHCP).
Would this cause the DHCP Server service(which is on the 2000 Server) to just
stop running? This problem started 2 days after the new 2003 DC was added.
I cannot find any errors in the logs.

Please do not multipost. It makes it more complicated for you to get a
coherent answer, others to help, and it's annoying ;-)
