Problem accessing VPN

My problem is this. We are using W2K VPN, with secure id.
It was configured with DNS, a few months ago we ran out of
IP's, so we switch V-LANs and started using reserved IP's.

We have two VPN in different locations, using the same
secure id server and only one VPN server is experiencing
the problem. Both servers are using Reserved IP's.

We also switched to a new server when we ran out of IP
addresses. Now we have problems with users connecting to
the VPN. Once this occurs, we have to reboot the server or
no one can access it. Our logs keeps showing the following
error message.

1. The following error occurred in the Point to Point
Protocol module on Port VPNx-xx, UserName:user. The
authentication server did not respond to
authentication request in a timely fashion.

2. The user connected to Port VPNx-xx has been
disconnected because the authentication process did not
complete within the required amount of time.

did you installed the ACE AGEnt on the server
and which secure ID protocol are you using: RSA EAP?

from the VPN server you made sure that the conenction with the RSA server
works fine, by using the "test authentication" option

From the failing client can you ping the VPN-Server?
Could you please enable tracing on the VPN-Server and send me the tracing
logs for the failure under %windir%\tracing?
Thanks
