Microsoft VPN

We used to have 24 ports alocated for the VPN connection on our 2000
server.

We switched it down to 12 ports but now the DHCP will not release the
other 12 ports that was previosly setup on that server

How do I fix this issue or is there some other underlying area for port
configuration that i am missing to have these IP's freed up!

TIA.

Hi Dan,

Assuming this is a Windows DHCP server you shoud be able to delete the lease
from within the DHCP manager by expanding the scope, finding the address
under address leases. Right clik on the address and choose delete.

If you have tried that and the lease shows back up again let us know and we
can explore other options.

Thanks,
