Prob w/WEBINTERFACE Please help

Mike

I have Win xp pro at home with a netgear router.
IIS configured to listen on port 91
RD configured to answer on 3389 (default port)
Router set to forward 3389 to local machine running RD as
well as port 91 for IIS.

I can connect to the machine running RD from any of the
other machines that are on the lan.

I can connect to the machine running RD from a remote
machine (off the lan) using the built in interface thats
included with XP Pro with no problem

The web interface connects to the default.htm and asks me
for the server name. I then type in the local computer
name that i'm connecting to "XXXX" it tries to connect
and then i recieve a message stating ' The specified
remote computer could not be found. Verify that you have
typed the correct computer name or ipaddress"

The remote connect(pc with xp pro that i'm using as the
requesting machine) is outside of my companys firewall so
there are no limitations on this connection.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
mike

HI Mike

You have to forward port 91 and 3389 to the IP of your computer and call
using the WAN IP
