private folder

i want to create a private folder and protect it with a
password, a folder where i can keep private info like
social security number, id number, etc... can i do this
with word, or any other program???

any suggestions?
 
you can creat a word document and password protect it. In
you word doc go to Tools/Options click on Security tab &
type in your password in "Password to open:" text box.
Save the doc. Close it. Next time you open it, it will ask
you for password. If you don't type it in or mistype the
password, it will say "Access Denied".
