private appointments -- hiding from view

I have several appts that are private and don't want them seen by people who
happen to walk by my desk. In the Palm, private appointments are grayed out
which is great. Is there something like that for Outlook? (I want them
grayed out instead of "disappeared" b/c I want to know I have those private
appts stlll there--and no this is not to hide anything like sneaking lunches
with my secretary or the like!)

No, Outlook does not have that feature for use on the owner's calendar. You
will need to use a screensaver or position your monitor so that people are
not able to casually glance at your appointments. You can also elect to
display an empty folder as the default view.
