Which make and model of printer?
How is it connected to the PC?
Is this an upgrade installation of XP or a clean install?
What is the printer actually doing? Will it print a test page? Is it
correctly installed? Is there ink in it? Is it turned on? Are there any
error lights flashing on the printer?
Lets have more information, like
What printer is it?
Are you using the latest drivers
Have you done all the obvious checks etc etc
