Running sbs 2003 domain with ISA 2004
Clients running XP pro sp1
all gp's disabled except default domain gp
locally installed printers shared throug hnetwork
cannot install printers from client while logged on as user
Receive error "You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect
to this printer" when trying to install with wizard.
Can install from admin account
user has read, read and execute on spool folder
If add user to local admin for the computer then can install printer but do
not want user to be admin.
solution to modify local policies does not help.
Have also modified domain policies as follows (for local and domain)
Load and unload device drivers group added
Disallow installation of printers using kernel mode drivers is disabled
Point and print restrictions are disabled

Thanks Cari,

I have tried that and successfully before but not in this case. I believe
that it may be a cloning issue. The PC's were Ghosted. I have had some
success with new sid's and new users but I still cannot install printers for
the current users. I am in the process of creating new sid's and users for
the domain (on a test basis). If I have no luck there will be more posts.
Thanks for the help.
