Printing random # of multiple attachments

Has anyone had this problem or know if it is a known
bug? On more than one system (each printing to a
different printer, different model) when we attempt to
print out all 29 attachments on one e-mail to the default
printer we are getting a random number of the total
printing out and each time its a different number and
random attachments as well.

For example, the first time I printed the e-mail it
managed to print out 20 of 29 attachments, the second
time it printed only 15 but some of the attachments were
ones missing from the first print, the third time only
12, fourth printing only 5 and fifth printed out 21
documents out of 29.

Any suggestions? FYI, we are on SP1 and not SP2 due to
conflicts with some 3rd party software were have not
being able to support it yet. MSKnowledge base doesn't
seem to have anything on this but I'm still looking.

Small correction, we are using Outlook 2002 with SP2.

Ideas?
