Printing problems

I use windows xp, internet explorer 6. I can print from
microsoft outlook & word, but I can not print from a
website. The printer justs prints the letter "p" on the
top of paper then reloads another paper & prints a "p".
I am majorly frustrated. I need help!!!
Please advise.

Could it be a Java issue?

Java Programs Are Not Printed in Internet Explorer 5.5 or Later
Java programs may appear blank or empty (or may appear in the background
color) when you preview a Web page for printing, and may be blank when you
print them.

If it is a Java issue, how to I fix it? MY knowledge on
computers is very little. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
