printing problems

my printer does not work
when i send a document to the printer it does not do
anything

Need some more information Michael.

What make and model printer is this and how is it connected to the PC?

Is this an upgrade installation of XP or a clean installation?

When was the last time it printed successfully?

Does it have ink in it? Paper in it? Is it turned on?
