Printing on CanonMultipassC755

My notebook manufacturer, Averatec, attempted to solve my
printing problem but unable to. Suggested I call
Microsoft.
The problem is when I print a document it skips about 4
lines when it gets about 3 inches from the top of the
page. Is there a patch or what to do?

Personally I would have called Canon since they make the unit but.......

What application are you using to print from? Does this happen in EVERY
application you try to print from?

Has it ever worked correctly?

Was this a clean install of the operating system (ie has the notebook every
had a previous operating system installed on it and you upgraded to XP)?
