Printing on an XP PC

Hi,
I am looking to print from an XP Client PC across the LAN
through to a 2000 PC which has a shared Printer attached.
Everytime I look for the Printer on the XP PC, on Add
Printer, it cannot be seen.
Can this be done....surely it must !!
Please help....

a) Can the XP PC 'see' the files and folders on the 2000 PC?

b) Is the UserAccount and password on the XP PC added as a User Account on
the 2000 PC?

c) On the 2000 PC, under the Printer Properties, is there a Security Tab,
and if so, is EVERYONE given the correct permissions?
