Is there some way I can print out or save to a text-file the
information displayed on running MSCONFIG.EXE? It would be very
helpful for locating the entries in the registry, using REGEDIT.
Thanks in advance

Hi witan,

If you need the Startup programs listing, you may use one of the methods/tools below:

Generate startup programs list using MSINFO32:
http://www.winxptutor.com/msinfo32.htm

AutoRuns for Windows v8.61:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/autoruns.mspx

StartupList:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php

Thank you, Ramesh. Your suggestion is apt. I refined it further by
opening the txt file in Word and saving it as a Word file (the file is
to be recognized initially as Unicode). Then, convert the text to
Table, for making it more easily readable.
Thanks again. and regards.

You're welcome, witan.
