Printing long strings in single cells

Hello,
I've designed a workbook for meeting attendance of my
church cell group. There's a worksheet for each month.
In it there's lots of features to calculate % attendance,
sums of those in attendance. There's also three cells for
comments.

When I print out my monthly report, I'd like it all to fit
on an 8 X 11 sheet of paper, including the comment cells.
Is there a way to do this? Or would I need to make my
comments span a few cells so that everything will print on
a single page?

Ellen,

Try going to File/Page Setup/ and check Fit to: 1 page
high 1 page wide. Click the preview button to see if
everything fits. If it is to samll try the same setup but
in landscape.

Chalie,
Your suggestion works remarkably well on my copy of Excel
2002 here on the job. Hopefully it'll work equally as
well on my copy of Excel 98 at home.

Hi,

You can look at the page setup options and the print area options a
well

This should allow you to print all the information as well
