Since installing Windows XP, my printer does not print
out the complete width of the Internet page - the print
out cuts off about 15% of the right hand edge of the
original.

Where can I adjust this?

Many thanks.

Walter

Go to the printer manufacturer's website and download the
latest printer driver for Windows XP. Also, some printers
have an advanced option to "Center the Page", which can
help with margin cut-offs.
Also, if you are browsing with Internet Explorer, then use
the Print Preview option, before actually printing the page(s).

Generally http doesn't print well, that is why you will on occasion see an option named Print Friendly version like Yahoo Maps uses. Also, it has added to the popularity of .pdf files (adobe) because of these issues. However, if your set on trying to print through your browser I would print preview first and then look for print set up or options. I don't know if your using explorer or navigator but they are pretty straight forward. Always print preview and on the preview there should be options for printer setup. Play around in there, the truth is though that you should be looking for the latter when working with printing and http...hope this hopes.

Go to preferences after you do a file/print. Click the Advanced button and
see if you have scaling as an option. If you do, set it to 85% or whatever
it takes to get the full width.

Use "print preview" under "file" in IE then choose "landscape" in "page
setup" if the web page does not fit.

I may be wrong here, but there is another setting that we some times
don't adjust.

If you are viewing the page that you want to print with Internet
Explorer, you can go to File/Print Preview. On top, next to the word
Print, ther is an icon that looks like a white page with a cog wheel
in front. This is the Page Setup section for IE.

Click on that icon, a lot of the Web pages are wider than the default
margins in IE, by making IE's margins as wide as they can be adjusted
for printing usually solves the problem you are having.
