Printing in Vista

Hi,
Not sure where to post this but some one may put me straight.
I am about to buy a new colour laser printer and am not keen to repeat
the problem I encountered moving from Win98 to WinXP. Istill have a
good Star laser printer because the Win98 GDI drivers were not
compatable with WinXP and no Win XP drivers were written.
If I buy a new laser which usees the WindowsXP GDI/Windows printing
system,
will I be able to use this laser in Windows Vista.

At this point in time, unless your need for a new unit is very urgent, I
would wait.
