Printing in Outlook

Graham

Hi,

We are using Exchange Server 2003/Outlook 2003.

One of my users has received a flight booking confirmation through email.
It is an HTML formatted message and has a few links in it.

When trying to print the message nothing happens, no printer icon in the
system tray and the message doesn't print.

When you look at the format of the the message it is HTML and it also shows
'Send pictures from the internet' is ticked. If you remove the tick from
this and then try printing the message you get an error message 'Items in
this message are still loading. Please wait a moment and then try again' but
the items don't load and we are unable to print the message even if we wait a
long time.

Has anyone got any ideas ??

Thanks

Graham

Couple of thoughts...

1) Copy/Paste to Word and print.

2) When the message is being displayed in the reading pane, is there a gray
bar at the top about blocked content and click here to remove it? If yes,
right click on the gray bar and select download pictures. (Could also try
opening the item and then select reply/forward and then try printing since a
reply/forward may trigger the download of content.)

Hi Neo,

Thanks for the suggestions, tried the forwarding but that still didn't work.

I eventually changed the format from HTML to plaintext so that it changed
the pictures to links and then it printed out ok.

I'll leave it at that now.

Thanks

Graham
