I have a networked XP machine which prints garbage from
connected printers (LPT1 port). I have connected two
printers, they both printed garbage. I have checked for
Viruses on the machine itself, it appears clear. The
machine's printers are not shared over the network.

Already installed the XP drivers for the printers?
