When I run cmd.exe and try to print a file from the shell, nothing prints.
Is there some sort of XP bug? I've tried the following without any luck:

print <filename>
copy <filename> <printer>
type <filename> > <printer>

Is your printer USB? If so then I don't know of a way to print to it
without going through a driver.

Make sure your printer supports DOS. most new print with
usb wil not have dos support. check you manufacturers
website to see if you printer has dos printing support.

Right-click inside the CMD box and click "Select All"
Right-click the blue title bar at top and click "Edit"
Select "Copy" and then paste into Notepad or whatever.
