Printing - Error - Printer Busy or Error

I receive this error message when jobs sent to printer
on print server. Job will spool at local workstation and
eventually report error.
Environment: Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 client,
both of which have the lastest sp and patches.
Permisssions sufficient to print and retrieve print jobs.
Any suggestions, please reply direct. Thank you.
