Steve

I have a Canon BJC-5000 printer, connected to the parallel
port of my computer. The printer works fine from MS Word
or any other windows application, except from the internet.

The only time it won't print, is when I choose the "Print
Selection" option...When I highlite some text and choose
print selection, I get the following message:

"Unable to read response from the printer. Please check
that your printer is ready (the green light should stay
on) and that the cables are securely connected. Aborting
print job."

Everything is connected fine and since printing any other
way works ok, I'm wondering what's causing the printer to
not work here...

This is getting very frustrating trying to figure this
out...Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Steve
