printing comments

When I print comments, it there any way to change the position of the comment
balloon? When I print a document that contains a comment, all the pages print
with a smaller font, even the ones w/o a comment; even when I print a range
of pages that does not include the comment. I guess that is caused by the
setting
File / Print / Print what =" Document showing markup". If I could move the
comment over, even tuck the left part under a line, there would be plenty of
room.

The alternate seems to be to print the whole document in landscape mode,
which is even less desirable. If I had to print the whole document, I would
turn off the comments, then print againg only the page(s) with the
comment(s). (This document has 17 pages).

Does anybody know of a way around this? I can't go in and change the
document because it belongs to another group.

Thanks

You can change the percentage of the page allowed for comments, and you can
change whether Word forces landscape (which will change your page breaks) or
reduces the page size to more accurately represent the portrait page layout.
Beyond that, as you've said, your best bet is to print the pages without
markup from Final view and then print the pages with markup.

Thanks for taking the time explain it.
