Track Changes and Comments

I understand that Comments is a part of Track Changes; therefore you must
have Track Changes turned on in order to print Comments; and choose Print
Document with Markup to get your Comments to print out. Is this correct?
Thanks.

You don't need to have Track Changes turned on, but you need to have
"Final Showing Markup" (or "Original Showing Markup," though that
seems less useful here) chosen; and (in Word2007) below the dropdown
for "Final Showing Markup" etc., there's a dropdown for choosing which
"Markup" you want to show. Uncheck all except "Comments," and you can
print your document with only the comments, not the insertions and
deletions, showing.

Be aware that when you print Balloons, Word shrinks the page so that
the full page view plus room for the Balloons appears in the output.
