Printing Background

When I preview my document the background is in colour but when I print the
background is plain white? Can someone help me?
 
What are the settings in color/ greyscale in the print dialogue? If you print
in greyscale or pure B&W this is what you get. You can change the settings to
print grey backgrounds so post back if this is what you're doing.

My print is in colour but I still get white background even though the
document is in colour
 
What does print preview look like?

Possible answer!!

(If preview was also white)

Go to slide sorter view and click show formatting (looks like 2 A shapes one
larger than the other) Did the view change??

Try printing now.
