printing A3 page on 2xA4 side-by-side printer paper ?

I want to be able to print a large A3 paper size documnt, on two smaller -
side-by-side - A4 size paper.

When using Visio, this is very simple, I can specify the size and
orientation of the physical printer paper, and the program shows me what
part of the drawing will be print where across all printer pages.
I want to do the same in Word. Is that possible ?

I don't think this is possible from Word's rather simple print dialog.
You could try exporting it to another program, like VISIO, to achieve
it though. You'd more than likely have to use RTF to import it
successfully (which is what is used during a cuttenpaste).
