Printing a worksheet with ActiveX controls

Excel never ceases to amaze me with its weird bugs.

I want to print a worksheet containing ActiveX controls.
But when I do so, the ActiveX controls end up all out
of their original positions and bunched up on the left
side of the worksheet.

What's going on? Is my workbook corrupted or is this
a known "feature" of Excel?

More generally, why are Excel workbooks so easily corrupted
and why can't Excel "uncorrupt" them for me? By this I mean, if
I can recreate a workbook by just copying and pasting
all my VBA code, cell formatting and formulas, and
names, why can't Excel just do this for me?

Deane,

A search in the Knowledge base for Excel 2002 "ActiveX print" yielded
nothing.

With regard to your question about corrupted workbooks, if you have Excel
2002 or 2003, there's a "Open and repair" command in the File - Open dialog.
Select the file and use the dropdown arrow in the Open button.

Thank you and thank you, Microsoft. I've been waiting for this feature,
since Excel 5. Better late than never!

So I have a good reason to get Excel 2002 or 2003.
