I just want to print the list of files I can see when I
open my windows Explorer or Word windows, so I can use the
list as a printed document. I have a laser printer and
my "Printcscreen" command will not work to do this. Is
there any other way besides getting HP software added that
will enable me to print the lists of documents / files
that I can physically see?

Calla;
No need to buy anything. When you hit the Print Scrn key it copies the
screen to the clipboard. Hit Print Scrn key/open Paint/click Edit/click Paste.
Your screen now appears and you can edit it anyway you like and then print it
out. Alt + Print Scrn copies the displayed window that is active, if more
than one window is showing on your screen.
Have a look here:

Hope this helps. Let us know.
