Printing 2007 downloaded template in color from 2003

I downloaded a 2007 version template from this site and it works well -
except for color printing. When I try to print in color, I can only get
greyscale. My printer and program print fine in color - it is definitely the
template and I suspect the version that causes this. I ahve even tried to
PDF for color printing - which works but caused the file to balloon to 400+
MB and takes forever.

Any solution to resolve this? PS> I have tried to resave the file as
97-2003 version with same result.

I note that when I remove the background "photo" and insert it into a 2003
presentation as a background photo - it still refuses to print in color..

Thanks John. The resolution is a dissappointment in my logic but you
definitely helped. For the record, I had tried the following:

*Saving the template as a 97-03 file
*all print combinations on the printer
* sucessfully testing printer from other users
* successfully testing color prints from my 2003 templates
*grabbing the background photo and inserting into a working 2003 ppt
*Reviewing file and photO properties and securities
*PDF printing - which worked by took an enormous amount of time
* on your response, I connected to another (similar) color printer in
another dept....and voila!

Problem solved. I assume it is a print driver quirk...and will leave it at
that. 3 hours to build the ppt...and 3+ hours to resolve the error (one of
those things I could not let go!)
