Snap Whipcrack..............

Every time I want to print something the damn ink head is dried up. I
don't print much. So I have to buy a $50.00 print cartridge every time
I want to print 2 pages. I think I should get a rebate on the ink left
in the old cartridge. The cleaning cycle most of the time don't clear it up.
I'm thinking of going back to dot matrix. Do lasers have the same
drying up problem from lack of use?
I would call an ink jet printer a failed invention if it can't work on
demand. Maybe they need a law suite slapped on them.

Ink cartridges dry up and get thick after a year or two. I don't think
laser printers suffer from that at all. You do have to be careful with
the cylinder though; if you scratch it, you buy another.

How's $49 plus shipping sound? I have one and just bought one of these
refurbished.

There are color lasers (with little color toner) from $249 up.

Although I have an infinity for TigerDirect.com, there are many other
sites with great deals, I imagine.

When you're done printing, shut off the printer as that will put the
cartridges into a " park " mode and seal them.
I used to have the same problem before I learned that. Now, Even tho' I
only print once a week or month, my ink is always ready.
