I have some Printers that clients have, ie. WinFax, Symantec Fax

It creates an entry in my event log that it cannot find it, and i wanted to
just not allow printers I specify to not even try to install it.

This way i dont create a bogus link to another driver for it to not go into
my event log..

Is this possible?

Can't you just edit your ntprint.inf file and just add an
empty line for the particular printer? Something like
this...

"Symantec Fax" = ""

dunno, would that add the printer to the use for them to use?

No...but I hope it would just prevent the mapping from
occurring. If you want to mapping to work, then you need
to install the drivers onto the server. With the
PDFwriter, I think you would be better off just installing
the software onto the terminal server.

Thanks
