The printer will not connect to vista computer. I need help.
The printer is connected to XP computer. Comes up with error report number.

I'm sorry you're experiencing trouble. What error number/message are you
seeing? For printer sharing in Vista (for Vista-connected printers), you
have two options: 1) create the exact same username/password accounts on both
machines (XP and Vista), including a non-blank password; OR 2) turn OFF
password protected sharing in Vista.

In your case, however, you imply that Vista is unable to print to an
XP-connected printer. Can you see the printer in either the Network Map or
the Network Explorer? Can XP print to it? Have you updated the driver in
the printer for Vista compatibility?
