printer wont work

i have had windows X.P home installed over windows 98 s e now my H.P deskjet 840 c wont work i have got the cd when i put that in it says its not capatable with windows XP what can i do not too tecnical please regards demark

I'd start off with some grammar and punctuation classes ..... if your goin

You need to find out if there are Windows XP drivers for the printer. Go to
the HP website and search for them there. If you can't find them, a new
printer may be in order.
