Printer will not print

Bought a refurbished OkiData ML 184 Turbo printer on EBay. Hooked it up to
LPT1, but when I print, nothing happens on the printer end. Changed cable,
deleted printer and re-installed. Still no results. The printer prints a
test page without problem. Hope someone can help.

Is the OkiData working correctly on another PC?

My printer will not print at all it looks like grayscale when it print and
then it fades away but printer is still running. What should my setting be
on
I creating a work document and sending it to print. I have changed
cartridges but, it still not printing Help

Does this printer use a plastic or fabric ribbon?
The symptom is generally that of a fabric ribbon with dry spots, or one
that is not always advancing.
Sometimes the fabric ribbons are in store stock too long, and develop dry
spots, or dry out completely.
A ribbon can also bind inside the plastic case.
When you say that the printer is still running, I assume that the head is
moving, and you can hear the needles impacting the paper.
