printer will not print black ink

tried to print a document but nothing shows on the page.
will print in colors only
i need to print in black ink

Check for a setting in the printer driver to clean the nozzles. Check to
be sure the black ink cartridge is not empty. Get and install a new ink
cartridge for black.

Some printer driver have a setting to print in black only. For
diagnostic purposes, try that.

Try ruining the utility to clean the print head of the printer. This
could be found in the printer driver settings or be a separate software
utility or made available as a printer front panel button or menu item.
Check your printer manual whether at the printer manufacturers web site
or the paper manual that came with the printer.
