Hello,
I have following problem:
Printer Cannon BJC-5500 Buble Jet when I print use 100% CPU.
Printer is conected by LPT port (this printer don't have USB). I discover
that 100% resource use parport.sys driver.
Any idea how to resolve high CPU usage problem during print ?

You could try opening task manager, highlight the process concerned and
change it's priority to low. It may help if you're trying to do something
else while it's printing. But it's not unusual for processes to take all the
resource they need to get the job done. You could also see if you have the
latest driver installed.

This suggests that the latest driver wasn't designed for XP.

Worth a try though.

During print CPU use 100$ and its process called "SYSTEM". I have to find
solution to change proprity for parentall port. When this port is use
(parport.sys) CPU usage is 100%. You right at cannon web site there is no
XP driver for this printer.
