Printer Spooler, drivers gone, unable to print

Got message that no printers were installed. When I shut
down and restarted computer, checked printer properties
got message that action couldn't be completed and spooler
unavailable.
 
1) Ensure the print spooler is started. From the command prompt, type

net start spooler

and hit enter

Do the printers now reappear?
