Printer spits out blank paper

Over the weekend I downloaded all new updates from
automatic update program. Now my Cannon BJC2100 no
longer prints. I put in new cartridges and still
nothing. Since I just bought $83.00 worth of cartridges
how do I fix this? I've already tried everything in the
troubleshooter program and tried to download the driver
again.
