Printer , speakers, and taskbar problems

Well now, I have a new dell, windows xp, and it has been
giving me a lot of problems. Everytime i restart me
computer the task bar doesn't show up. I have to be very
lucky for it to show up. Also, now its saying I dont have
a printer or speakers on my computer. I have done all the
test to make sure they are in correctly and they are. They
worked fine up to now. So whats the problem? Can i fix
this?

The computer wouldn't know if speakers were plugged in or not - it would
know if the sound card were missing, but not if the speakers were
plugged in. Run an up-to-date anti-virus program and scan your system
with Spybot Search & Destroy.
