Hello,

I recently had to reinstall windows xp home on a
computer. This computer is on a network and previously we
had shared the printer and some folders on it with the
rest of the network. But now that I have reinstalled
windows, we cannot get into it. When we attempted to open
the computer in Computer Near Me on our other two W2K
Machines, then I get this error:

\\Dell is not accesible
Logon Failure: the user has not been granted the requested
logon type at this computer.

I have tried creating an account on the xp computer with
the same login name and password as the account I am
logged into on the W2K Machine but it appears to have no
effect. Is their something i'm missing?

Run the Network Setup Wizard on XP Home to fully enable file sharing.
