Printer Sharing, How to do?

If the printer is connected to one of the computers and working properly,
then on that computer:

Start/Printers and Faxes, right click the printer's icon and select
Properties. Click the Sharting tab and select Share this printer.

On the other computer run the Add Printer wizard and select Network printer.

Hi:
Thanks for your response.

I did as following your instruction. However, I have NOT able to make
'printer sharing.'

Even I did 'Uninstall' and 'install' in hopes to get proper set-up.
However, there is NO
way to get 'Printer-sharing' done.

Is there something missing on set-up, or do I need to contact my DSL
provider to
get 'permission?'

Thanks for your opinion on this regard.

Hi:
Two computers with Windows XP itting on a big table.
There is only one printer on the table, then I want to make
'Printer' Sharing so that I am able to print with ease.

My 'home-networking' is excellent without any problem.

My question is;
How to set-up 'Printer Sharting' on both computers?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Did the Add Printer wizard complete successfully? What happens when you try
to print?

Hi:
When I checked Printers on two computers, ... name of a 'host' printer
changed to HP PSC 1610
from HP PSC 1600 All-in-One. A second computer keeping the right printer's
name.

Then, this, a change of printer's name might be causing a problem?
However, I installed Printer on two computer by using an exact same CD which
came with
the printer.
Just, I can't get why this happened?

As to 'Add Printer Wizard,' ... I was unable to complete due to 'path' which
I couldn't figure out.
Also, I could not understand some other things 'Wizard' asking.

For this problem, I need to contact my DSL provider whether it's
permissible to make
'Printer Sharing?'
Because, I got this DSL just three days ago.

Thanks for your opinion and input.

Run the Network Setup Wizard on both computers, starting with the one
that has the printer connected. The Wizard will make all the right
settings to share the printer, and the other computer should
automatically discover and install the shared printer.
